|---|---|
| Shy/anxious students | May point to the picture or have a teammate say the answer aloud; the student still selects or points to their own answer. |
| High need for stimulation | Structural: fast pace, color-coded teams, visible point progression, multimodal engagement (visual, audio, movement, peer talk). |
| Visual impairment | Assigned seating closer to the TV screen. |
| Lower-proficiency students | Checked first during circulation, given brief one-on-one reteaching with visuals and gestures. |
| Stronger students | May model an answer or help a partner point to the correct picture. |
| Keep-you-on-your-toes | A wrong or incomplete answer opens a quiet-hand steal for another team. |
Grid of place icons. Teacher calls "Is there a...?" Students mark matching squares. First to fill a row/column wins.
TPR with places/transportation vocab. "Simon says drive like a truck!" "Simon says wait at the bus stop!"
Card pairs face-down. Students flip two at a time to find matching vehicle pairs, naming each one aloud.
Pairs draw 4 places on paper. Partners take turns asking "Is there a...?" / "Are there any...?" to guess what is on the map.
Label 4 corners of the room with different places. Call out a place, students run to the matching corner.
